Using toolkits from Cambridge Design Lab, Insulate Ukraine’s Nikopol Team has developed the IU Window V2. Transparent, recyclable and more durable than V1, this PET window has transformed the way Insulate Ukraine can deliver aid.
The Process…
“Our team have been installing the first version of the window over the year, and during this time we noticed there is some space for improvement; the window was not transparent and did not secure the building - we wanted to solve these problems.
Then Harry offered us to start the project “renovation”. During that project we gathered together to think of how to improve our window - because we want the people we help to have the best option for keeping their homes light and warm. In a month of work, we came up with this version. We are pleased that it will be rolled out in homes soon.”
